My Build

thanks guys, it was a bit of a rocky road to be honest, with only being on £80 a week it was a seriously slow build but having the engine blow plooms of smoke out when id done it all...man i nearly cried haha but still got on with it and rebuilt it all and now its sweet as a nut, just want more power now lol!

Thank you for sharing. Nice build.

Can I offer a small warning, DO NOT use bricks to support your car in any way. Use proper car stands to avoid health issues. [which it looks like you got your hand on some in the later photos. ace.]

thanks again... and just so you know tama, we didnt use bricks to support the car at all there were a series of bricks built up to support the brake calliper from dangling on its rubber hose and then more were used just to support the engine while it was on the two jacks. id never use bricks to support the weight of the car, a) from health and safety point of view, but more importantly (lol) because i wouldnt want to damage the car!

some more pics :)

Fair play mate for all the work on this car, esp the engine swap/rebuild! Your ek looks really cool

Who honed the cylinders? Did you put the engine back together yourself?
