Mil spec engine harnesses

They also made me aware I've got to set up as an international importer and get sanctioned by HMRC!!

It's a proper thing as well, I have to give all passport details and inside leg measurements. It also means that they now know all of my details so will be looking out for my self assessment.
Quite a clever system really ha ha

Hi bud,
Just an idea of what you want to power from the loom really. I can then see what the best way if configuring it will be.

Well I can't believe it's been 5 months, but boy has it been busy!
After making a couple of interior harnesses for guys on here I put a few pictures online, and that's pretty much all I've been building and installing in my spare time since then. 24hr endurance cars, race cars, even a monaro v8 installation into a triumph TR4.
Hopefully I'll be getting back into the kswap and engine harnesses in the coming months, ax all of the looms are back from testing and ready for manufacture..so I'll have prices and all the rest available shortly.

This was an interesting installation
An FN2 k20z4 that needed to run a k20a2 kpro. Various reasons, but simplicity and removing a lot of the FN2 electronics was amongst them. This came as a painted rolling chassis, and an interior loom was made, I installed all of the dash switches and electronics, and also adapted the k20a2 engine loom to fit the z4

Great work Paul

For most people wiring is the biggest hurdle when building a race car or even a fast road car!

I removed all of my interior loom from my k-swap DC2 race car and Paul made a complete custom plug and play interior loom, the only wiring needed was to connect up the clearly labelled signal wires for my clocks and then a a few wires ran to the exterior lights and my fuel pump and sender

I have no real experience with car wiring and Paul's loom has made it very easy. I will post a few pictures of the completed interior loom when I get a chance to finish fitting over the next week or so

I also tested a kswap conversion harness before removing my oem interior loom and the quality was top notch

Top quality work!

Would you be looking into doing b series looms?

Top quality work!

Would you be looking into doing b series looms?

Morning,
It's something I'm planning on looking into at the end of the year. The problem I see is that it would require a further investment of a couple of £k and I'm just not sure the demand would be there.

You my friend are going to get a rather long PM soon about lots of stuff wire related.

It will have the words "EF9, turbo and tuck" in there somewhere. ;-)

Just a little update on how things are going. The business has gone in a slightly different route than I envisaged, and pretty much all of my time is spent making looms for me to install rather than just selling them. Finished another 2 race cars over the past few days and installed my first of my own switch panels yesterday!
8 outputs, each with a maximum of 10amps current handling I think they'll be popular with club racers. The screen is pretty much flat, and then there is a hideaway box that contains the relays, which is connected to the screen by a single data cable. Worked really well, and at £249 is a third of the price of other Motorsport products. The sckgriund to the screen is a bit toss, but my printer let me down, so I was up till midnight on Sunday doing it on Paint :)

Evening all,
Been a while, but I’ve been a busy boy. The loom business has been such a success that I’ve dissolved my previous business and this is now my full time job :).
Its been pretty much solid for the past year, and even now out of “season” I’m booking work for August!!!!
Got my own new workshop, and that now means I can start doing things for the “b” guys. It will be long term, as I’m pretty much booked solid for 6werks in advance, but give me an idea of what you’d like to buy and I’m more than happy to look into it for you. I should soon have a b series “race loom” available which should be a foolproof way of installing a b series into pretty much any chassis. Maybe nobody’s listening anymore ..just thought I’d let you know ha ha

A few of the cars in recently. I also now supply ECU’s, Hondata, DTA and SCS mainly as they cover the models I’m interested in.

Really exciting at the moment as I have a fiesta st150 (second only to the ep3 in terms of popular track day cars), which I’m supplying everything. The car is being dropped off bare and I’m supplying the wiring, dash, ECU and getting it mapped before the customer gets it back.
