MFactory Solid Shifter Bushings

Ordered a set of bushes+magnetic plugs, can't wait to get them! :nerv:

I'm going to fit my ones next week with a short shifter, so will be interesting how it feels after, will update my build thread with some pics.

I'm currently modifying the Mfactory B-series bushings to fit my D-series shift linkage. It just needs some turning on a lathe and a little sanding to adjust the dimensions.I also asked Hardrace about their shifter bushings which are also made from TPV and they have a durometer hardness of 85 front and rear.
I'll post pics of the bushing when i'm done ;-)

Made a new stainless steel bush to fit the B-series bushing, and filled in the gaps on the side with some silicone just to make it smooth.Bushing has been milled and sanded on the lathe .

So if the true enthousiast want they can modify these to fit their D-series. ;-)

Lube on install?

It is recommended to use a lithium grease but any grease will do. Just not something that's dry-film nor WD40 which tends to be a bit too slippery if it gets all over the bushing.

Some heat also helps as the durometer is quite high. We recommend a heat gun or if that's not available, a hair dryer on HIGH for a couple minutes should be ample.

NEVER use an open flame.

Didn't need any heat to get them on, just was careful with a small amount of lube. :)
Nice product, tightens up the shift action
