Hi guys,

I know this is a heavily touched on subject but I haven't see a clear-cut answer on whether or not you can use this location.

I want to read pressure and temp from the location seen below. Can anyone tell me if this location actually works ok as a reliable source. I understand that it is 3/8NPT thread.

I want to add a Y piece and take both readings from this location.

Confirmation would be fantastic!

Thanks in advance.

Watching the thread as I'd also like to know. Have heard so many different opinions.

I used that location for oil temp on my B18

Hopefully someone can confirm if it's a reliable source for oil pressure as well.. Can't see why it wouldn't be though

I can't see why it's not suitable for oil pressure but I'd be taking pressure from the oem switch or a sandwhich plate personally.
Why can't you use the oem pressure switch location instead?

I'm looking to do both soon as well and think the moroso baffled sump comes with an oil pressure location if you fancied using one of them, I plan to in future.

I've got the Morosso sump aswell, decent sump.
I take temp from the sump and pressure from a sandwhich plate.

Sounds like a good setup, I got mixed up, it was the oil temp it has a location for, not pressure.
