I thought while I'm waiting for my DC5 to arrive from Japan I would get a thread started.

After contacting Torque GT I decided to go with their personal import service to find me a good example.

This is what they found for me:

2001 model with C pack - Rear tints,Rear wiper,Retracting mirrors.

Championship white with red interior.

66000 kms - approx 41000 miles.

It also has OEM wind deflectors.

Coilovers (will be replaced with mugen dampers and spoon springs)

Spoon front strut brace and a C pillar brace.(these will be removed)

Fujitsubo exhaust.

These are the only pictures I have of the car:

I've also been collecting a few parts for when the car arrives.

Mugen suspension-still need to get the Spoon springs:

Mugen airbox:

Parcel shelf:

Engine mount inserts and Mugen radiator cap:

Thanks for looking,

Matt.

Great straight looking DC5 and im sure it will clean up well, nice selection of parts also.

What grade was it at auction ?
All the best with it.

car looks tidy :) good base to start on :D

Cheers mate.

Thanks.

It was grade 4B. The drivers floor mat has some wear and the boot trims have been cut. Other than that, everything looks ok.

Looks damn nice. Way better in pre facelift guise imo. You selling your black 9 on fb by any chance?

Aww so you did. Sorry, just there is a guy selling a black 9 as he is getting a white pfl dc5 freshly imported. I forgot about your mega fresh 9.

I've definitely missed driving the ek9 these last 6 weeks. I'm currently driving a clio! Only another 3 months till the dc5 is ready for collection...

Oh thats not a good move.... ek9 to a clio ouch. 3 months is a long time especially when your waiting for something like that....

I hope it's worth the wait..

After driving a clio for 3 months i think a cabbage would be worth waiting for so im sure the dc5 will be fine ;)

Looks a nice example that mate, good choice going through the guys at Torque GT.

After a 600 mile/12 hour road trip I finally have my DC5.

I've not had chance to have a proper look round it,I'll do this at work on the ramp. But as it stands I'm very pleased with it.
