Hi,I'm now the new owner of Jake123's EK9.

I don't plan on doing much to the car as these look best near standard. I'm just going to keep it maintained, clean and enjoy it.

This morning I was able to the car on the ramp and get a few things done.

The floorpan had some surface corrosion,so this got rubbed back and undersealed.

The rear brakes were stripped and cleaned as they were sticking slightly.

Under acceleration the brake fluid level warning light would come on due to low fluid. The current brake fluid was ATE super blue but not having any to top it up,

I flushed all out and replaced with Honda brake fluid.

The wiper blades were replaced with Honda items.

The wheel nuts were corroding, these got replaced with new OEM one's.

Fitted some Osram night breakers.

I also gave the car a wash and wax.

Cars looking good! Do you work for Honda by any chance?

Time for a bit of an update.

The sticker bombed spark plug cover wasn't to my taste so this got replaced with oem silver one. Some of the rocker cover nuts were not looking so fresh, these got replaced

with some stainless steel ones.(refurbing the rocker cover is on the to do list) And I replaced all 4 tyres.

The other day I noticed the front brake discs had some heat crack's in them so I replaced these with Honda ones.

Fitted some front mudflaps.

After waiting a week and half,my seat cover turned up from capitol seating. They sent me one for a ford focus to begin with.

Mount the Spal 12" slimline fan to the radiator.

Replace the battery

Rub down and paint a spare set of wiper arms.

Clean up some fraying on the drivers seatbelt.

Looks like this beauty is in great hands

Nice to see things being done properly!

How much were the mud flaps if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

The mudflaps were £37,but that is with my staff discount(which isn't much)

Earlier in the week I received some type r mats off Ramz, these will replace the black sir ones.

I've also removed the pedal covers.

During the week I was able to give the inner arches/quarter panels another coat of wax oil.

While the interior panels were out I had a good look to see if there was any evidence of any accident damage or body repairs,i was pleased to find there wasn't any.

I also got myself an Asimo note book which will be used to record all the work carried to the car.
