i was wondering how to get the top nut off the shock the whole shock keeps turning i have no air socket set im just useing basic tools any help would be apreciated

you need to take the tension off the springs before you do anything with a set of spring clamps! then you will need to put an allen key in the end of the shock to stop it turning and use a spanner to loosen it, A vice will be handy to hold the shock as you work at the top end.

Cheers mate that was the first straightforward simple answer i got

also, id give the threads at the top a good wire brush and spray some penetrating oil on there. helps a little. And vice grips on the allen key may be needed to hold it while you try and loosen off the nut. AND make sure the allen key is a good fit as if you **** up the slot were it goes your beat! :nice:
