leeK9's EK4 SiRII daily


im going to leave this thread now... Makes me miss my old SiR so ******* much! haha
 
havent done much to this car apart from drive it to college/work but have myself booked into a track day on mondello on the 1st of march so scrambling to get bits done before that..

lifted an S4c LSD box there yesterday and also got a EK9 flywheel with it :nice:

also got myself a set of DC5 red recaro seats and a takata harness for my bride track seat :nice:

picked up a full length DC2 rad so time to.....

bought myself a mint set of rays gram light 57c

spraying them gloss black with new blue decals in a few weeks but rubbered them up and fitted them to see how they fit....might go for a small set of spacers to bring them out a bit better on the back but fronts seem fine

also got a set of honda access headlight protectors so fitted them too

picked up a set of EK9 drives as one of my CV joints is clicking slighty so bought these as they are thicker so will cope with the power a bit better once i get the LSD box fitted

also started stripping it out last night and removed a bit of sound deadening

and re-fitted my Bride seat and currently fitting my Takata harness :)

yea this is my second SiR and i love them

this car rapes all other B16A/B16B around my area

and as it sits its only a car off DC5's with light mods but a remap and my new lightweighty'ness and LSD should help that

aye thats with the cat in for the test

decat going back in this week so be even louder but i prefer the noise with the cat in :(
 
So good man, Love those wheels, dad had some on his last DC2! Headlight protectors were a good find, Not tempted to get an SiR lip for it? Would love a run against this aswell, my car is limited at the same place by the looks of things.

yea well if you ever have a Friday or Saturday night free take a run to letterkenny....there does be a fair bit of kanjo at the weekends:nice:

Dude those wheels are sick !!! i put them on pretty all my car's on Forza lol. they're gonna look amazing in black

Loving the single seater setup :))
 
I would keep the wheels gold or another bright colour, they look really well. Black might take away from the clean look imo
 
More videos and updates when you can, this thread keep's me from looking at DC2's and instead wait for summer! Keep forgetting the potential of a good healthy B16 :nice:
