I have a EK4 which seems doesnt seem to pull as hard after 7000rpm. It pulls fine in 1st, 2nd and 3rd although I think the problem may be there in these gears also but is mostly noticeable in higher gear.

When you shift up to next gear it pulls fine again until 7000rpm and is also fine after 7500rpm.

I have changed fuel filter, spark plugs, ignition coil, rotor arm, dizzy cap, oil and filter. Vtec is engaging fine and isnt falling in and out of vtec. I am steering towards fuel pressure maybe, as the car cranks over for 5-10 seconds when under 1/8 fuel then it starts. Anything over 1/8 fuel and it will start fine first time.

BUMP!!

I have teh same annoying problem with the car struggling to start with little fuel. Ive changed the petrol filter and plugs, still does it..

maybe petrolpump?

I get some random slight hesitation sometimes when driving normally. I'm going to check my timing soon and also fuel pressure.

Unless the problem started after the timing belt was changed I don't think it will be timing. Sounds like fuel pressure to me. Have a look on honda-tech if your still struggling there's loads of good info on there
