Hey guys! Im all the way up here in Canada (Calgary,AB) trying to represent for us on this awesome site! im trying to get back into Honda's after a 5 year love affair with Subaru :bow:.

But im back on team Honda! My love affair started up again when i bought a 2003 RSX. it had a JRSC and man did it fly :drive: after my tragic accident i thought it was time to get back to basics so i found a 96 EK hatch with a ITR swap.

RSX - to be honest im happy to have survived this accident... cars are replacable people arnt.

i have huge plans for her and as you have seen with my previous projects i like to go big so there is definetly a K swap in the near future, whether she gets induced that will be decided after i drive it NA. im not really a fan of people building cars with BIG power when they dont actually know how to drive them, ive seen NA civic pass turbo cars all day around the track i dont know where big HP numbers became such an importance but anyways :blabla:

i picked up some goodies today, coilovers have been ordered and on the way! im in search of a full CTR front end conversion (99-00 spec), im also looking to get power folding mirrors and electric windows (why do non power windows ALWAYS fall off the track sigh). ive located the subframe, Front LCA, sway bar and power steering rack from an EG for my K swap just waiting for my mounts, axles and the engine of course :) i had K pro on my RSX so its been taken off, still undecided if i want to take the blower off my RSX and put it onto the EK...

You Second STI looked class . Sorry to here about the RSX .Cant wait to see what you do with the ek . I will be keeping my eye on this .
 
Looks like you were lucky there! The ek will be lighter than the rsx so it will be quicker wether you put the sc on is up to you.
 
all your cars looked well and am sorry to see your RSX project like that but it sounds like you escaped okay, which is the main thing :nice:

best wishes with the ek, will be good watching things develop :)
 
Looks like uve nice plans man, pity about the teg but onwards and upwards! Ive never been in a k20 ek or eg but id say they go like stink! looking forward to more updates :)
 
Thanks guys! Yeah I had huge plans for that RSX I still have ITR brembos and a pile of J's racing stuff I never got to use :( but I guess it's just money as long as I'm still here. Stay tuned I have 5 lug conversion comin soon along with my roll cage and paint job :)
 
small update when to the wreckers today picked this up nothing crazy but does make driving around the city a little more comfortable lol

picked up a replica CTR spoiler today... not too happy with it might keep it for now but definetly looking for an authentic one

Thanks guys! Yet another small update picked up a pair of EK9 tail lights, coilovers are a week out and supposed to pick up my 5 lug conversion this weekend still trying to source wheels to use with the conversion

you can always put those dc5r brembos on the ek lmk i give you a step by step on how to doit

i put lots of thought into whether i wanted to try this but it seems like way too much work and i hate frankenstiening parts together... coming from a guy who wants to but a K20 in an EK lol i no i no but it seems much easier to sell them and buy a set of spoon or some other brand that will bolt right up. my Brembos are quite fancy tho lol

it is off my old RSX its a J's Racing 60RS

Before i got into mechanics i used to detail cars for a living and ive been itching to polish this car ever since i bought it, i no its going to be repainted later but the sun damage and stains killed me everytime i looked at the car.
