So I've recently put some k20a/k24 injectors in my b18c with type r fuel rail.
My teg now seems to idle at just over 1.5k revs, if I hit the accelerator the revs climb like they should then drop back down to about 700-800 revs but then climb back up to 1.5k after that and stay there. Car also feels like it's pulling when I'm driving due to this.

Now I'm not sure if it could be the injectors but if the cars pumping in more fuel the computer could be telling it to pump in more air couldn't it?
I've cleaned up both idle valves and the throttle body and have bled the radiator but no change, anyone else have this problem would could else could I check I'm so stuck.-.

Did you remap your ECU ?

B18 injectors are 240CC and K20A injectors are 310CC if i'm right. If your ECU is not tuned you are running very rich.

By the way your ECU adjusts the quantity of fuel depending of the quantity of air coming in.

If you want to change injectors by an other model you have to tune your ECU.

When i did this mod on my b16b i remapped the ECU to have the engine run as it should. Im no tuner but most probably this is the issue you are encountering. To get the most out of this mod best to have a stand alone ECU like hondata or AEM asd get it mapped professionally.

Hope this helps.

Hi. Just a quick question. are they bolt on? same resistance on the injectors as b16a2 /b18c6 (like civic ek4/dc2)
Because i've been thinking of this myself

No they are not plug and play. I had to purchase top hats for the injectors so that they could fit the fuel rail and also had to do a little modification but nothing major.

Injectors alone wont cause it to jump 500 odd rpms at idle.
Any vacuum leaks?
