This would be great for someone who is looking for a clean project car. There is no rust forming from what I can see, arches are clean and just need a lick of under seal. Everything is practically done so all you would need is the engine and the fittings depending on your setup.
Badbits:
All cars have their bad points, its nothing major though:
-The paint job was only exterior, so around the seals, there is a bit of paint
chipping, but this can be easily touched up.
-Iâve recently noticed two car park dings on the passenger side⦠hardly noticeable, but annoying.
-I drilled holes on the bumper to fit some canards, but had the coppers tell me to take them off.. left them there to use the canards for track when the time came.
-As it was a Kswap, the exhaust tunnel is cut for the shifter, and there are some welding on the subframe, but a DC2 one is supplies so that shouldnât cause any problems
-Thereâs a small scratch on the rear bumper, some idiot scratched my car while turning and drove off!
-I had the electrical done without the swap harness, so Iâm not sure where the wires are cut.
-Small crack in the dash, which can't be seen when the door is closed
-Alarm central locking doesnt work on the fob, but alarm is functional so you would have to press the fob to demobilise it and then use the key to open the doors, an easy fix I have been told.
-Temp gauge isn't working, suppose to be a common problem on kswaps, but this could be dealt with while putting the new engine in.
