Guys I'm having problem selecting all gears in my k20 dc2. If I drive it easy and smoothly put a gear in the select perfectly, if I vtec and do a quick gear change I feel I can't get a gear in.
I'm running a dc5 oem shifter box with the tunnels cut
Any ideas why that happens

When you pull it out of gear does it feel like the engine jerks/moves around a lot?

Nope engine is solid doesn't move. Gears are very smooth when crushing. When vtec kicks in and give it a quick shift I can't select the gears that's how it feels anyway, feel like I miss them but there no crunching or anything.
If I redline and change it smoothly they select perfect.
Do you think something might have gone lose?

loss of gear changes at high RPM is the common symptom of a k20 clutch dying, do you know when it was last changed?

The shifter cables may of possibly stretched? Try and borrow a set to see if it fixes it

Clutch is new mate changed it not long ago. Can't seem to find a gears though at high revs

How's the clutch fluid? Might be due a change if there's a load of air in it.

Clutch fluid is ok. I been told to get the cables, cabled tied together make sure
The don't have any movement.

I think your cables are not good. Check your cables at the bracket where they're mounted to the gearbox. Check if the shiftcable housing is not broken.

Check out the cables and let somebody sit in the car and shift it in to gears (with the clutch open offcourse)

It isn't a white one with wedsport wheels?

If it is the bush on top of the box is knackered, if your aggressive it pops out then you can't get the first 4 gears

Just been looking at your threads and I think it is my old integra

Bought of thoung?
