Hi,
which shifter box and cables (excluding K-tuned and other aftermarkets) is best solution for K swap to the DC2 chassis?
I have found that people use shifter box from Accord TypeR (1998-2002), others CRV (2002-2006).
Thanks.

FYI guys,
I can confirm that CRV 2.0 liter K20A4 (2002 - 2006) have the same cables as RSX and they fits perfectly for a DC2 chassis so for EG also should fit, not sure about EK.
Today I have installed them with Hybrid racing shifter.

My mate was sold an accord shifter box as a dc5 one by some douchebag. The accord one does not work. The gears are all back to front as one of the cables is pushed when it should be pulled because it's connected to the bottom of the shifter rather than the side. Hope that makes sense.

This was in an ek. It was a cl7 shifter box. Ended up having to buy a dc5 one.

I'm using a hybrid racing no cut shifter box with their racing cables

yes,but you must use CL7 gear box mechanism and then they work perfectly ;)
Also 6gen Accord shifter is good for K-swap ;)

Bringing this thread back up for some more info on the crv shifter. Will the throw with it be longer or more sloppy compared to the dc5 setup?

Also has anyone any pictures of how much needs to be cut from the car to fit this and also is the hole for the cables route an awkward job with the dash in.

First k swap here and the car is a mb6, from my years of screwing at 90s hondas iv realised the mb6 front end is very similar to the 90s dc integras and eg civics so assuming alot of eg/dc k swap parts will work with little to no modification
