Ive got to say its a brilliant resource for everything CRX and there are a lot of dedicated, knowledgeable people on there who are always willing to give advice.

Its been a long time and my memory isn't what it used to be! I was a member of the forum when it started out years ago as a yahoo group (I had my EF8 in 1998). I believe Bill and Mark were also members from this time. From what I remember, Bill organised a small group buy on the carbon bonnets around 2003 - 2004. There were only around 5 or 6 custom made by a guy in his neck of the woods (north UK). They were made from 100% carbon (no fibreglass frame). The original ones had a join strip running up the centre of the bonnet and they were not drilled for washers. I never got to use mine and sold it along with all my other parts around 2008. They became the holy grail of EF8 bonnets and were hugely sought after (from what I was told). Not sure if Bill arranged any further remakes.

As for Mark, he has been around on the forum for a long time. A very knowledgeable and technically minded guy who I believe was the first to retrofit an S2000 dash into another vehicle (his EF8). Trawling through the archives of that site will uncover all manner of useful information.

Nice find, really hard to come across a SiR nowadays. Unfortunatly I had to settle for a VT, has yours the factory LSD?

very nice, love the second picture

Sweet looking car mate , looks mad with the exhaust in the centre. Lol

congrats on the new purchase sam :)

Thanks dan ! still got the jordan mate :( iv had nothing but time wasters and swaps. droped the price down to 3999 see what happens :( really gutted about this. The crx will be put in the garage till the jordans gone.

i dont think it dose have an lsd tbh, the cars done 215km but the boy blew the engine going from 4th to 5th and it just went silent. striped it to bits and couldnt find a problem , so there is an engine from a more recenlty imported sir in it with around 77thousand miles on it

Mark Leavey ... Thanks for all the info ! you obviousley know your stuff about these cars and all the people in that scene ! yeah the bonnet is purely carbon, no frames or anything underneath ! could do with a rub down and re done with what ever carbon bonets are laquered with tbh ! what kind of price do you think this car should be going for ?

greatbuy, congratulations mate!!

Welcome to CRX world!:naughty:

What plans have you got for it?
