Josh's K24 EK Track car

Car looks great!
As for the heater, if you use a k-tuned thermostat housing you can remove al of the plastic piping for the heater.
Save some weight and looks alot cleaner.

Few bits been going on, car got ignition the other day, went to crank it over and absolutely nothing! Took starter off to test and that was fine, realised there was no power to it so traced it back and I must've cut the ground for it out when stripping the loom down, woops!

Sorted now just need to put it back together

Got some tatty wings off my friend to test out/chop up to see if I can get my wheels to fit haha

Also bought some RDX injectors off pdapaul on here

Waiting on a few things to arrive now, mainly kpro 4 and then it can start up (if it starts up) and then book mapping, get an exhaust made and make myself an intake beforehand

Thanks:) The offset or what wheels they are? They are Rays gram lights 57xtreme 17x9 +22 with a 255/40/17 tyre
I was after the offset, as I'm looking to run a 9j too. Looking for the best fit possible without bolt on plastic over arches. I like the way your going with the bottom of the wing cut off.

Yeah I was the same, don't like the bolt on arches! Tbh I was torn between these wheels in +22 and +40, they both had same concave face also, only thing that swayed me was that these came up for sale in the UK.

I think a 255 on a 9j +40 would just miss hub with a 5mm spacer on, 235/245 tyre would be fine with a slip on spacer with +40 I'd imagine, would also fit in the arch easier

Thanks for the info. Do you know if there is any difference in offset between 5 stud and 4 stud hubs?

It started up and sounds like a rotary haha.
Hope you sort the little issue out though going off your Instagram post.

I'll update this as my lad seems to forget! Looks like oil leak is sorted.. fingers crossed.. just need to upload a diffrent map to Kpro as it didnt like the TSX map.

I see the video on Facebook. Looked to be pig rich with the black smoke out the exhaust on every throttle blip.
Sounds epic though!

Yeah faulty map sensor! Sorted now.. Ran it up off a k20 map to bleed water system all seems well enough for mapping now.

Yeah keep forgetting about this build thread! I'll get it back upto date

Finally received my Kpro and shortly after I got my 3" exhaust done which I'm going to have to get an extra silencer added into as it isn't going to pass noise regs as it is

With the exhaust done I finally started it up for the first time but I had a faulty map sensor, to add to the confusion even more I must not have been concentrating when refitting the inlet and plugged the tps into the map sensor and vice versa, doh!

It's now running as good as it could without getting mapped I think but it just will not idle for some reason no matter what I try so hopefully the guys at tdi North can sort that when it's getting mapped

Oh and I bought a big wing and started to make some of my own mounts and end plates for it on the weekend, it's rather large

Just ordered discs and pads for the ep3 calipers I'll be fitting on the front so the brakes should be bled up this weekend, went for EBC bluestuff ndx to see how they are, seem to have good reviews and I'm not overly heavy on brakes so should be ok, I got along with yellowstuff on my last civic fine

What does your wideband say at idle? Well when it's trying to idle.

I don't have a wideband or any O2 sensors for that matter, I think it's something as simple as adjusting the idle screw on the tb, for some reason I assumed k20 didn't have one so will check that tonight

It's running fine now by seems of things (as good as it can on a basemap I imagine) no more overfueling etc, when I dropped the oil it stank of fuel lol must've been really badly overfueling
