2.5" ID catback (controversial on here! You all love 3" exhausts!)
Undecided on clutch
Maybe lightweight flywheel.
P28 ecu
Full block breather set up from rear ports
Afew other bits and bobs but that's the base of it,
Hoping to shoot for 270hp/200ftlbs reliable on b16b

mint man, sounds sweet. Looking forward to seeing it! Better not arrive before mine considering it was ordered weeks ago!

Haha they told me 4weeks build time and about 4 days delivery. So you should see yours soon!

Wasn't from Go-Autoworks. Although the delivery time does make me feel a little hope, was expecting weeks for delivery. Should be soon, fingers crossed!

nice to see you back in a 9. Didn't think it would be safe to boost a b16b though? Where did you get the Varis bonnet from? I was surprised how light and amazing the fitment of those things were compared to your regular ones.

Came on the car.
This is it about boost. Seems everyone just claims they can't be boosted. It's an engine like all the other Hondas so why not? Lower comp than 18c6 and f20c.
I think my 270 goal is realistic on stock block, if not then I have a spare b18c6 in the garage and that will hit 270hp easy enough.
Hoping for the car to have a similar torque curve to stock seen as it won't have a huge amount of boost through it.

Congradulatuons bro, send me some dates of track and i will book them off work. Any pics on fb?. Who owned the 9 last? Matt ek9?

Nothing as of yet, not sure what he's thinking, probably r32 gtr.

Haha yep you noticed :p I was having trouble letting go changed my mind about a hundred times, but it just seemed to work out this way Jesse got a car he knew I and I got an honest buyer.

Seen only good things so far aswell which makes me happy.
Keep it up im watching...

....Wheels are in major need of a refurb but that will come.
Bear in mind this cars been a track car for atleast 4years. Seen the gravel afew times aswell. Driven how they where built to be!......

Oi you cheeky sod it was only the gravel once!
Rest of the time it was just the grass ....a little bit..... and the daily usage :p

The b16b is fine boosted to a certain degree all dependant on tune etc as we know, 270hp is a really good power figure and easiliy acheivable with great spool characteristics with the .50 trim, no worries there. But... why not whack the b18c6 in it and have it running 330hp easy on stock internals with even greater spool and then sell the b16b for mucho mullah and put it into the build costs.

I'm quite liking the challenge of the b16b turbo tbh. Also it's not about power for me, I've been there before, it's about usability this time round, plus this b16b is a complete gem and always has been. Not played up once in the 5 years I've known the car.
Matt, your welcome to come and drive the at once it's done, obvious passenger laps at the ring etc.
Looking forward to your next project, hopefully I'll keep up.

The stock b16b will handle 270bhp no problem. I mapped a turbo stock internals b16b last year for a customer it made 290bhp and 180 ftlb's. Turbo was a Garrett 57trim running .5bar and on our crappy 95 octane fuel.

That's good to hear! Is the car still running now?

The car was put back to standard and sold, I've no doubt it would have lasted years at that power level. I've a few customers with stock b16a's running 290-300bhp for years now.

Well if your confident so am I! Looking forward to cracking on with this.

What the oem alloys? I'm refurbishing them, the cars wearing its weds sports ATM I believe they are tc05's but not sure

Another update on page one,
