Been on here for a while but not really posted much, just read the wealth of info really.
Anyway got myself a black ek9 a year ago after selling my wobbly Ep3 which i hated from the day i got it!!!!!!

This was it the week a collected it

Had bc coilovers and some other bits and bobs and was happy with it like that for about 4 months!!! Got bored of the lack of grunt and a trackday at cadwell hammered that point home with frustratingly catching focus RS' and M3's on every corner to watch the dissapear on the straights. So out came the b16b and in went a b18c4, paired with a t3/t4 garret and some other supporting bits. A visit to Ricky @ RaceTech later and a live map nailed 345bhp at the fly :) i can higjly recomend Ricky for the stunning job he did!!!!

Currently stands looking like....

very nice build up mate :)

next years plans sound good as well

Fixed!! Roll on in third from 30-130 up a proper steep hill too lol

Looks mint, very nice. Definitely is a monster 345bhp are excellent figures you got :nice:

Hi mate, good to see your car at last. Wondered what it looked like, not dissappointed ;-) looks great!!!! Nice power figures there too. Would be great to get these cars on track as you have said.

Yea sure would bro!! Im not happy with how it looks at moment but been concerntrating on getting it mechanically sound so can now move onto sorting how it looks. Planning mental aero mods with rear diffuser, carbon gt style wing and dirty offensive front splitter and canards. Seeing as ill be mostly using it on track im swinging towards the whole 'time attack' aesthetics :)

Yea i stuck it on there in search for an Rx7 but no solid offers yet so will prob end up staying in my sticky mitts lok

Nice monster that is, the engine is very tidy and lots of space. usually turbo'd civics look a bit cluttered but yours is perfect! good luck with the future mods!

I tried to go with the factory look so had all the turbo etc ceramic coated black. The intercooler piping and joiners will eventually be black also and the a different rocker cover with larger breathers i have painted J's Racing gold

Always faniced the idea of a Turbo'd Honda, if this a safe set up? Did Ricky at Racetech mention anything about how long the engine would roughly last?

So far 8 months of torment and it hasnt evan blinked an eye!! Not a thing!! Its mapped for low down grunt and reliability. Rev limit set at 8200, the only factor in the limit to my power was the injector size ricky said. He runs a civic aerodeck with one of his kits on and its 460bhp iirc on stock internals and is a daily shitter/track car! It gets used as well, like a 17 year old russian prostitute and to date the only problem was a headgasket let go in 2 years!! Id trust him with anything honda and turbo'd tbh

Awesome !
Remember seeing this for sale when i was trying to sell my old black ek9 lol, great work man must be a great laugh :nice:

Seams fine to me, for the size of the turbo spool is pretty quick, its making boost at 3200 and is at full boost by 4800

Nice neat install :nice:

BUT you injectors are far to little for the power output, the damn things must be screaming! Unless you hve the fuel presure is cranked way up there.
