Hi Guys, not an ek9 but I taught I would start a build thread here for my s2k.
I have been on the search for a suitable s2000 for a while now and when I heard the owner was selling this I had to get it . I had seen the car in person previously and knew it was in good condition, it was also more appealing as it is a genuine AP2 jap import. It was imported in 2016 as a grade 4.5B and has been really well kept since then. Very few jap s2ks in Ireland, especially AP2. I plan some subtle mods but car already has a good spec list with genuine Mugen hardtop :)) , mugen spoiler, mugen intake , toda headers etc (I will add a spec list once I've checked the car over). Anyway , pics below -

Beautiful example of a S2000. Such a rare site in Ireland for sure. The mugen hardtop looks perfect on it.

Few bits done lately
- engine oil & filter (Millers CFS 5W40 NT+)
- diff oil (motul competition 75W140)
- gear oil (Honda MTF)
- hardrace engine and transmission mounts (old engine mounts were leaking fluid)
- Innovative 75a diff mounts
- hybrid gearbox indent springs
- js racing oil stopper
- valve adjustment (all within spec)
-idler pulley bearing
-tensioner pulley bearing
- aux belt gates (no AC)
- pole position and PCI adjustable seat rail
- personal suede steering wheel
- custom alignment (Front: -2.5 camber neutral toe, max castor approx 5.6
Rear: -2.8 camber , 1mm toe in per side )

Completed its first trackday last weekend and it exceeded expectations. Can’t wait to get out again next year .

All tasty mods and maintenance to keep her going for another year. Were you at the JDM Classics or Track Days IE? I don't go to Mondello much, apart from 1 or 2 track days.

I was at the JDM classics , I do about 5 or 6 trackdays per year between Hiro racing , MCG , JDM Classics and trackdays.ie .
Plan to do some UK track days next year too!

The Hiro Racing ones are becoming more hectic, with all the K series boys. MCG is good. Get to watch a bit of drifting. I'm considering going over to the UK too.
