I've never seen before on a 2 door Coupe Civic. Unique is what Im going for. Any info would help. Thanks fellas.

i dont mean to be rude or burst your bubble but the reason you havent seen one is cause your in north carolina... im in socal and i have seen many si's converted to type r style lookes and engine or even the 5lugreally jdm conversions are one of the most popular things now esecially champ white anything... im sure it will still look great though. and yeah the straight headlight itr is jdm 98spec type r the rest are all bug eye usa or jdm...

I love the Idea. I tried and tried to convice a friend with a 99 coupe to do the same thing. I have also seen many attemps at this conversion but they are always halfass attempts. I think one done right, all or nothing would be awsome. But good luck with the project and be sure to keep us posted when you get started.

I've seen a 99 4door type r look a like turned out nice, and yea blinx i'm originally from socal i just got to south carolina. it's a night and day differnce in the scene out here, hardly any "real" jdm. but a lot less honda theft out here tho

that's good i'm glad to see you have a lot of security. My friend just sold his converted rhd dc2 and bought a bmw because he was so worried about it getting stolen. But now he's sick of the bmw and now he wants another rhd dc2. I'm setting back like 1000$+ just for security for my next car (real ek9 :D )

That sucks i didn't know that in USA there's a big chance to get your honda stolen, here RHD usually don't get stolen, because for the thieves this type of cars is useless, i only heard of a stolen starlet gt turbo like 6 months ago.

I suppose that in the USA the cars get stolen because of the dohc vtec engine demands right?

Damn i think my car will not last 1 month parked in front of my house, because a lot of ppl in the USA likes EK9 s :ek9:

Hi everybody!

My name is Zolee I live in Budapest, Hungary. I'm on the way to convert my EK4 (left steering) to EK9 (I have already:5 lug brakes,ITR alloy wheels,type-R suspension, momo steering wheel, EK9 cluster, type-r shift boot and knob...

I'd like to reduce my car's weight and I'd like to know all differences!
I've found it but in japanesee! Does anybody know it?

Thank you in advance for the answers!

Civic Zolee please start a new thread..

It matters where you are in the US if your car gets stolen. In las vegas or southern california, you have to watch out. In my state NH, cars hardly ever get stolen.
And good luck with that ek9 conversion 2000redcivicsi. I had this idea for the tail lights. You know how the white part on the ctr tail light is sort of tinted to a gunmetal/smoke sort of color, while the usdm one is just white? You should take apart your em1 tail light and apply some sort of paint or varnish to acheive that smoked sort of color in the white part of the tail light.

bug eye itr rule, mind you we have an influx of the jdm itr here so bug eye is different, only around 7 bug eye itr here in nz.
