What other mods you got?
I have skimmed head compression about 11:4 , PLM Toda exhaust manifold, 2,5" exhaust, Mugen airbox, ITR throttle body venturi style, EK9 cams! Just all goes to K-series, i cant decide if go to K or tune my B!
I honestly don't think its worth the porting of you head, I'll put the money somewhere else, for example a Hondata s300 as I can see you dont have a fully programmable ecu.
K series is another story, if you have the budget to do it, it is a great option, as muscle car enthusiast say there is no replacement for displacement, imagine if you do a swap and put a K20A DC5 Type R motor in, you start tuning at a 220hp+ stock motor
I at the start thinked to port just intake manifold, if it,s worth it! I have Chrome P30 programmable ecu, but i know that Hondata is best!
I am looking on it, but can,t decide! Like how goes B18C, VTEC crossover sound, as i look on projetcs and builds, power are good, but no VTEC crossover like B-series! And K-series need big budget for good power like 250+ HP! Yes, DC5 have very good power on stck K20A engine. 220hp at stock is really amazing plus can unpgrade with better exhaust manifold, intake and get some more power! It is big decision for me! Need to think about it!
You can leave your chrome p30 on your car, there is no need of Hondata. Use the ecu that your tuner is comfortable using
