group 20? I haven't got one yet, but i'm looking for quotes too! And the EK9 is much easier to insure than the ep3. I'm 20 with no no-claim bonus! And I get 2300, which is still quite high! but willing to pay

Insurance grouping is only there as a guide and varies from company to company. You should be concerened with your own details rather than the car. If you are a decent age, with good experience and a low risk postcose then anything is possible.

I'd wait till you got a little more experience and till the costs drop slightly, 1 years no-claim really will drop your insurance cost.

I reckon £2200 for insurance, is way too much. Thats like £40+ a week!

Also alot of imports are likely to have a few modifications so remember to budget for those when getting insured.

If i was in your posistion, i'd wait another year as you will be 21 and the price of EK9's doesn't look like its going to shoot through the roof. just remain stable.

Im with sky on my EK4 VTi, my dad is a named driver and i haven't got any no claim bonus to use but they mirrored it from another vehicle. its £1200 fully comp for the year.. The EK9 is the same price.. (just Admin fee's to change the vehicle reg on the policy and such..)
