insurance for a old git 28


It depends on your history and where you stay? Do you have no claims bonus or any driving bans or points? All depends really, your best bet is to just phone up. You should try Sky Insurance.
 
2 years no clams no crashes or points did have full ncd but had a sports bike for 3 yearsb so my car ncd was lost .
 
The best person to ask is the insurance company, we cant quote you and we dont know what they will either.
 
Dunno mate but ill bet for damn sure itll be a hell of alot cheaper than what you would be paying if you were me, i dont own a 9 at the moment but insurance is *****ng nightmare as i am only 21, i got quoted £1490 with a £450 excess, think the ek9 is a group insurance 19
 
@ 28 you should hve no prob, if like already mentioned dont hve any accident history etc...

just ring lot of companies as rather random issue, 1 company will quote great price to 1 person and **** to the next person

ek9 is bad on insurance anyway
 
Im 28 with 3 years no claims. I put the girlfriend on the insurance, declared my mods (expensive wheels, exhaust) and asked for a 5000 mile a year policy. Mine is around £700 with equity redstar through adrian flux. Hope that helps. :)
 
do you need a tracker alarm ? o and i had a 05 sti impreza 400bhp only other thing that i like is a 1998 bmw 328i sport but as ive not yet driven a ek9 i dont wot ones faster more fun ect ect

You had a 400bhp scooby & your worried about ins on an EK9?
I wouldnt of thought it would of been anymore than that.
The EK9 & 328 are totally different cars, it all depends on your driving style
really as the beemer is rwd & the EK9 is fwd. Both are fun to drive in different ways.
 
the scooby was a uk car never had a import car i no there diffrent but wots faster coz my mates got a 328 and he will love it if the bm kicks my ass as the sti was so fast .
 
Are you talking about track or 1/4 mile? EK9 would whip it on track, not sure about the 1/4 mile though.
 
just normal driving but saying that hes a bit of a nutter BIG ball if you no wot i mean think ill get the civic just to be diffrent.:nice:

Just be carefull mate with the expensive wheels, ALOT of insurance companies will only cover your wheels at Factory Value (I.e the wheels that were on it when it rolled off the production line) Even though you declare them clarify this with the crooks that are insurance companies!
