Hello all,
I have an EK4 (98) with B16A2 engine (ODB2A), I rebuild the head with DC2 (98) camshaft, and with valve spring, and head mileage to have 10.8:1 (0.045mm), I mount also a DC2 fuel regulator, rail and injector.
I have but not mount actually an EK9 intake manifold with IACV an IAT. I use an OEM IAT before the BT at this time (I will make a "harness" to use the EK9 IAT on intake manifold).
Actually, I run with a P28 ecu tuned, but it too rich and the Vtec is to early, I bought a PCT ecu ODB2A to test.
It run good but I have the idle to 1000 RPM, and it not decrease with the AC, light ...
And when I slow down, the rpm takes time to come down.
With my P28 or OEM (P2T) ecu, the idle are in 800/850 RPM. I test with unplug IACV and jump a diagnostic plug, the idle are to 500 RPM, so, I don't touch the iddle screw on body trottle, and I haven't any problème to slow down.
IACV are good and clean, map it's ok ...
I would like to know the real idle RPM on EK9 (I not found this information) and I don't found the EK9 Workshop. And why I slow down, the RPM decrease slowly with PCT Ecu ?
And if it's possible to use a PCT a long time on my engine, because it's with this ecu that I have a best feeling.
Thanks a lot (and sorry for my english, I work it !!!)
