Recently polished up the surfaces of my headlights with some plastic cutting polish since theyre were very very dull.. the results are incredible! Id reccomend this to anyone. Takes about 15mins hand polishing each light, intensively. And since this was done by hand I can wait to see what machine polishign comes out like! :nice:

What do you guys think?

looks amazing! ive been wanting to do this to my Acura CL but it takes so damn long! How much time did you spend on it?

thanks dude, about 15mins each light by hand, with special pads made by meguires. The compound was a liquid by meguires called 'plastX'

theres still some like permo dried fly remains that i cant shift so Im going to re-do it with the machine. once i borrow or buy a machine. Should comeout even better then. Its pretty good now. but could still be clearer

nice work need to do it myself, and i`m sure alot of other people will be thinkin the same lol:nice:

It looks great...I just purchased CTR headlights like last month and they looked crappy.

To do the job I actually used 1000,1500,2000 grit wet sand paper (Because it was really in bad shape) After I sanded it, I used 3M Rubbing compound to bring up the shine (I used a buffer) Than to finish it off, I used 3M's Glaze (By buffer as well) and now it looks pretty much brand new!

Thats hell of a difference I can't believe you just polished them out by hand!:nice:
