I hate getting PULLED.


I've been pulled but usually it's my own fault. Bein on 10 points sucks when I see the blue lights in my mirror
 
Never had much trouble myself. Been pulled over a few times for random checks or something minor, changing lanes without indicating was probably the best.

Be reasonable with them and all is good.

10 points jesus, heavy right foot? I was pissed when i got 3 points for going through a red light lol. Back in 2010 Id be on suicide watch with 10 lol
 
Well i live in a fairly small town and the police are quite reasonable. Iv been pulled only a few times in 11 years. Each time i couldnt blame them. Full car one new years, checking i wasnt drunk. I dont drink so...... Didnt check the car over.
Once for a bit of a dodgy over take on a caravan in the countryside in the pre 9. One of them knew a thing or too about it aswell. B16b etc etc!! Still gave me 3 points tho! Solid white line. Bollocks. (clean license now) only points iv ever had.
Got pulled in an old rover once also, he said it looked dodgy!! Could hardly blame him. Borrowed 214 gsi. I would have pulled it too!!! Police get some pretty nasty people off the streets doing random stops. We should be glad they do it. If you and your car are ok and you dont give them attitude then you wont get any hassle.
 
never been pulled over even when i was 18 in my ek9 and 2012 c class AMG!
 
I've only been pulled over 2 times 1 by traffic one by regular police. First one was a routine spot check as they where doing them in the area.

The other one was just typical standard police acting like traffic police. He said he pulled me over due to myself having no back seats. Which he claimed was illegal. I stated to him under which act of the road traffic act does it state that having no backs seats was illegal, as to which he genuinely said "I'll be back in a minute" jumped in his car for 2 seconds and returned and said "Actually, everything appears to be in order". Took his name and badge number, never been pulled over since by regular police and that was 2 years ago.
 
I usually get pulled quite often, especially after work, i live a 5-7 minute drive to work and they see the same car and know where its going, but i usually speak quite well to them and just let them waste my time. The only problem i ever had for driving was finishing a game of 5-a side dropped my mate off who lives in the next street, went to turn into mine and traffics came flying up my street and stopped outside my house as i got out my car, walked upto them to ask if i could help, but they drove away for some reason. I personally think some officers swap their ego for a badge,hat and a hi vis jacket.

Also got arrested last Monday night, for breaking into private property... That belonged to my dad they also arrested my Dad although all paper work was shown, and we even showed them the keys to the property and turned the alarms on and back off but was still detained for 4/5 hours. The majority are on a power trip.
 
When I passed my test back in 95 I got pulled over 21 times in a single month! I never got issued any fines or penalty points and I always carried my driving license so never even got given producers. I was always civil and respectful to them and never once tried to backchat. At the time I thought 'police harassment' but now I understand why it happened. To them it must of looked really dodgy, cars full of teenagers driving around at 1 or 2 am with no apparent reason other than hanging out.

I was 17, just passed my test, had a very tidy Nova SR (long before the chav image that was placed upon the car). The car was my pride and joy and I had worked hard to pay for it as well as for the fully comprehensive insurance.

Now i'm not saying I was an angel and that I never drove the car like a tool occasionally. I was immature and looking back I am extremely thankful that I never injured anybody or got caught by the police during those bouts of being a twat! I can understand why the Police do it. Its the typical stereotype of a youngster with an expensive car. People assume that they have either been given it by their parents (the green eyed monster sets in!), they have stolen it or they are potentially showing off and driving it dangerously. My advice is if you have not committed an offence and all your shits in order then let them do their thing. Might be easy for me to say now that i'm an old bastard in a boring car that never gets stopped.

give the friend 3points for aparently going threw a red light! wen they stopped us
cuffs on both us screamed at (clearly thinkin these 2 lads cant afford this wagon:p)
4 jeeps 2 cars an 1 shogun 30 mins at least at the side of the road freezen, had his
licencen in his hands wen he stopped but To busy shoutin outa the car fs

coulda dusted them allday long buh weres the fun in that:)i think cops no what there
at gett all young drivers as much points as possible an show them whos boss hahaha
 
Pulled so any times in my old 106 but that was mainly due to have an exhaust with no cat, or baffles in the backbox..

Was pulled in the civic a few weeks back and told I had passed them at 100+mph to which I argued the point that I hadnt.. the cop took the huff when I told him I had been sat in starbucks for 3 hours with friends and literally just pulled out the carpark and had 12 people to witness it

I was driving to Aberdeen and set off 2 speed cameras 3 minutes apart, got 3 points for each and an eextra point for ignoring my mail and making it go to court. I tried to argue they can't do me twice as I was only speeding once. Then I just got caught on 2nd Jan this year 76 on a dual carriage way I didn't realise it was a 50 tbh I was down motherwell which im jot from there either. 280 quid fine for the aberdeen one they can ram that happeneda year ago and it aint been paid :)
 
Get pulled over all the time arseholes! If we sit in the car park in a line they will pull us for that for causing an obstructin.
 
I've been pulled enough and believe it or not its mostly Ben Samphier's loud exhausts that gets me in trouble! Gotta love the police!
