So I decided to tackle this at lunch time, one person said I could do it and one person said I couldn't so for the sake of 7 bolts and a few clips I gave it a shot.
Also please bare with me as this is my first 'how to' hope at least one person finds this helpful :)

Step 1:
Remove Glove box, there is 2 screws at the bottom of the glove box to remove

Step 2:
Remove plastic trim on the left hand side covering the ecu

Step 3:
Remove the connectors (3 of them) 2 on the top of the fan and one on the bottom

Step 4:
Remove the 5 bolts pictured below

Step 5:
Separate the black bit on the left from the white section, Remove this first, its a bit awkward but just need to be patient, I moved it down slightly then tilted the top towards the fron of the car and pulled it out under the metal bar.

Step 6:
Remove the white part, this will literally fall out, very easy once the black part is removed.

I did this to try and locate a water leak without removing the dash, which I did then attacked with sealant, not the tidiest of jobs but will hopefully do the job, not sure if it has been effective yet as I was kind of rushed as I did on my lunch break, but was worth a shot :)

Thanks for reading

Decent how to mate.
Atleast you found the leak.
Looks like someone drilled a hole for some reason?

Thanks mate :)

Yea I dunno, I had a wee gentle poke at it with a pick and its not a hols, so will probably remove the fuse box in the engine bay and have a wee look behind there as im pretty sure that's where the hole or whatever it is, is

Coolio, glad you got it sorted. Finding these things are a pain in the arse.

Good job, hopefully this will give me an idea for my EG when I pull that out!
