FYI jacks dont leak air.

DO NOT UNDER TIGHTEN the oil plug folks. Torque to manufactures specifications.

My god, a whole new meaning to "winging it" in front of a camera.

Is there not a touque setting rather than "I'm scared" tightness level?

LOL. Of course I do oil changes for my car, dude! It's just that I don't want to post pictures or videos of engine in public/internet. I NEVER open up my car's hood in public. I'm so scared, man. LOL

Dude you dont even have a DOHC of any kind under your hood, is my bet.

My daily driver DX is way more of a CTR than yours will ever be.

Im done with wasting time with you. Ciao

RIGHT!

Torque the sump plug to the manufaturers torque setting? Hahaha!

Never done that once, and never found a drip of oil. Just use common sense. If you don't have any, then read the manual.

Also, Tama, your comment about the engine is unwarranted, there's no need to get like that. I will remind you that you are on the EK9 forum and yet you do not, have not and most likely will never own an EK9 so please don't make such comments to other users, especially ones who have taken so much time on their cars to create an EK9 replica. It's not nice.

I mentioned this in other thread.
I think your just running a SOHC, and don't wanna admit it :/
Love to be proved wrong though...

He has said in other posts in sure that its stock sohc?

Wow harsh. Who cares what engine is in it.

I didn't mean my comment like that, I don't care what engine he has. He takes a lot of time to put together some decent videos.

All i'll say is cheers for making a positive contribution Michael.

Rather this than some "what's the best air filter" ect bollocks thread.

:nice:

wow first fight of the year lol
little biased tho... and a happy new year guys !

not really tbh. Simply pointing out some of the misinformation of which these videos have. A guide is meant to be factual not off the hip.

That comment was fair enough, but his other comments were not (imo). His other comments on other threads have also been needlessly 'orrible.

A constructive comment would be nice! It's great that he's trying to help with his vids but make sure they are actuate and correct..
