Hello guys

I Might be on the hunt for Honda ek9 shell. Currently waiting for a quote on sorting the rust and body work on my b swapped ek, but thinking it may not be worth plouging money into it anymore!

I would like all body panels and interior if possible Let me know what you have available!

Kind regards

Qasim

Thanks for the offer Bro, really after an ek9 one tbh. If I change my mind I'll be in touch :)

Is it an ek9 Gary, problem is I have an ek3 so looking to re-shell it

Just had a look Garry, I don't really want to go down that route of buying a full car just yet. Going to hold out a bit longer before I consider it!

Is it even an EK9 shell? Looks like it's had sound deadening stripped, EK9s don't have any other than a tiny bit in driver's footwell. Anyway, can't say from the picture. Breaking your EK and buying a complete EK9 is likely to be cheaper in the long run imho.

EDIT: I managed to get to the whole post - looks very clean but unless you are re-shelling a rotten / crashed EK9 it is not worth it IMHO. £1k for the shell, transport on top and all the missing EK9 bits are very expensive to buy separate. It does look very clean tho!

What comes with the shell for 1k?

I was looking to buy a bare spare shell in case mine ever got stacked on track, some guy was selling a mint one but came completely bare with no interior no external panels, i had a deal placed for 500quid. The guy never answered my calls or texts when i was going to go pick it up. Waste of time!

Lol, that's not good at all especially since you were keen on buying it,

From the add he's mentioned, Non rolling, All panels no interior, missing spoiler, has fuel tank, steering rack, dash loom interior loom, missing suspension arbs hubs ect, have pictures, can watts app these acrooss if your interested

Cheers for that mate but cant really afford at the moment.
1k does seem a lot but how often are we going to come accross another shell, just depends how badly you want something!

probably cheaper to buy a complete ek9 after buying parts individually with postage charges? plus you risk lost/damaged items

Breaking such a clean ek9 just so you can make a few extra quid is bad :nono:

B18crek 1didnt know the car was on this forum

Civicx3 - just glad it didn't get stripped even more then scrapped lol

You might be right in terms of buying a full car - just missed out another rolling shell just needed engine and box + exhaust it had everything else. Scheduled a viewing on Thursday but it got sold today :(

It's either that or I fix my ek3 which I just don't think it worth doing.

Fixing a rotten ek3 is only worth it if the car has sentimental value to you, from purely financial point of view it makes no sense at all sadly.

I know which is why am having second thoughts. I'd rather spend that money on am ek9 if I ever come to sell it which I hope is never at least I'll l get something decent for it
