So this build was started just over a year ago on the Honda Culture forum.

Things have recently change direction, so I will start from the beginning...


The car actually was owned by my cousin, Nelan, who passed away in January 2009 after a 7 year battle with Leukaemia and complications. He had a lot of plans for the car but sadly never had the chance to carry them out.

His family have decided to keep the car and finish it the way he would have wanted.

End of November 2009 saw the car taken over to Nunos unit, ready to have the arches replaced and a full respray.

This is how the car was left;

In December 2009 we went over and stripped the car ready for work to begin

This is how the car was left in 2009.

This project is going to be completed in his memory, and will be a basis for some fund raising events that we plan this.

Also I would like to thank the guys who have already said they will be donating parts to this build, it is very much appreciated. Any other donations would be greatly appreciated as well

When it first arrived at the new bodyshop that have taken the project on;






The car is getting there now and has just had paint B)

Had problems with Nuno and his bodyshop so after a long search details were finalised with Rojer

Started some stripping on the car. Pictures as requested:

Great to see this it reminds me so much of my old friend Gavin that sadly passed away after battling cystic fibrosis he had plans of a b18 eg which his brother and friends carried out! It was a really nice thing to do in Gavins memory! The car was also used at a fundraising event! Best of luck with it

More from Rojer...

Todays progress on the car, its coming along very nicely. Every dent is done now on the car and the car is pretty much all rubbed down. Just arches left to do! All the windows will be removed tomorrow and work can carry on, also had a tidy up in the car and got it all organized.

Update time, the civic is in primer the color has been chosen. Will start the sanding down tomorrow and final bits and pieces.

Paint will be in next update
