The total picture looks absolutely awesome. Into detail, I love the front, side and the taillights in the wing. Not so fond of the 4 tail pipes, 1 each side would have been better imho. And the wing looks like a double wing, not sure about that either. BUT it looks better than pretty much every European hot hatch available (maybe the Focus RS can compete in terms of looks but it isn't sold new anymore and the new ST is, in terms of looks, a nice car to do your groceries with as noone will notice it ). Props for Honda stepping up!
I think the tail lights will make it to the production model as they made a point of explaining how they've moddeled them on the original NSX rear lights. They also said Championship white will be the launch colour for it.
loves it finally a good looking new type r all round, not been one in my eyes since the ek9 as the ep3 had good and bad bits on both pre and facelift not fully stunning. only thing im not fussed on is the damn 5 door hope they do a 3 door as the new st has been ruined by 5 door only (aswell as a bonnet mouth gap the size of the moooooon and no 5 cylinder BOOO!!) anyway looks angry and bet this will look great at night with them rear lights. plenty of tuning ability to id say, with boooooost so easy 320bhp would make this an animal if the usual honda handling traits are there. i want to take one for a spin haha
It looks fantastic. A little wild and it certainly stands out from the current range of hot-hatches - exactly what Honda need to do. It's also vital that Honda establish a USP and not fall into the trap of creating a generic turbo hot-hatch.
It's a bit radical I'm pretty sure the one that we'll be seeing on the roads will have few similarities with that. The design's too mad and it is a concept! We should expect it to come out looking like a simple Civic with bigger bumpers screwed onto it...
From the front it looks sweet. Not sure about side on view, not enough definition between the bonnet, windscreen and roof, just looks like a big mole hill… Guess a lot of new cars are like that though. If they made a JDM model like the FD2 with that front end I would definitely want one!
