Right I have thoroughly thought this through and I feel its now time to sell my Honda Civic SiR b16a.

Firstly I’ll start with a bit about the car and why I am wanting to sell it.

I bought this car at the end of December 2010 and its been a pleasure to use throughout my ownership. It has honestly been my pride and joy and I have taken great pleasure using and looking after it. It’s an extremely fun and lively car to drive and gets lots of attention where ever it goes.

Lots of work has gone into the car throughout the last year, with a lot of niggles and problems being sorted as soon as they were noticed. It has not gone unloved throughout its time with me “no expense spared”, that expression is said a lot but honestly it really does stand true with this car.

Lots and lots of paperwork to go with this car from my ownership, I’ve kept all receipts for the new owner to look through.


This car has performed beautifully for me as a daily driver, and has never truly let me down more than you would expect from a 15yr old car.

During my ownership I was even able to take it to the Nurburgring in August where it handled the track brilliantly and without fault, credit to the car.

My reason for sale is that I simply wish to get a newer car.

Now for the details.

I am the 3rd owner since it was imported in 2008.

Tax: October 2012
MOT: July 2013

Bodywork condition: It is in very good condition, with the usual signs for a 15 year old car. It has a couple of minor scrapes on rear bumper, shown in the pictures. There is also a small scratch on the door and passenger front wing and rear wing. On the plus side rear wing and front bumper have recently resprayed. Condition is overall very good considering the age of the car, just want to be as clear as possible to potential buyers.

- Ferodo DS2500 front Pads

- EBC rear discs

- EBC green stuff rear discs

As far service parts go, this year i have replaced:


- Oil and filter changed every 4000 miles, 1st and 2nd time this was done by Endless Horizon, the 3rd time this was done by a dealership garage.
- Serviced less than 500 miles ago, oil, oil filter, spark plugs, fuel filter

- CV boot gaiters (replaced July 2012)

- rear droplinks (july 12)

- Inner tie rods

- Track rod ends

- Sump gasket

- Head gasket replaced and Head skimmed at 98200k miles - Cambelt and other belts were changed at the same time

- Brand new Distributor

- Brand new battery

All these parts were fitted by professional garages with receipts to prove. A few parts will go with the car (4-1 manifold, std airbox)

I have really enjoyed owning this car and will be sad to see it leave, but I have made my mind up so it must go.

Everything has been replaced or upgraded when needed. No expense has been spared on this car; it has been my pride and joy.



No tyre kickers, No timewasters and strictly no test drives without proof of insurance. However if you are serious about buying the car i will more than happily take you out for a drive in it.
