Managed to get my hands on this pretty rare Genuine Mugen Civic EG6 SiR & EG9 Ferio SiR brochure.

Loads of tasty bits, I think the EG civics got the best kit from Mugen, the rest of the Honda's are a little OTT imo.

Bought another set of Honda Access mats from Japan, got them cheap lol

As many of you know alot of the parts for the older Honda's and other old cars are discontinued.

So trying to find certain items is like trying to find rocking horse **** lol

But somehow I came across this BRAND NEW OEM "SiR" decal at a very very reasonable price, so me being me I snapped it up as soon as I saw it, I would have paid double the price if I had to.

Btw if you guys didn't know the "SiR" Decals have been discontinued for a very long time

Behold, brand new in the original package.

Probably one of the last decals knocking about.

Not sure if I'll put this on the Car because I've already got a set of replica decals that are pretty good copy's, but let's see lol

Another very lucky find lol

A friend of mine who also owns a EG6 SiR had these.

This is probably the cheapest set of flakes ever sold lol

1 centre cap missing, but I may have found a replacement so it's all good.

I can change the look of the car when ever I get bored, by just switching the wheels and other bits and bobs.

So I managed to get the evening off work, I got a few of my mates to give me a hand to strip the EK donor car, as I had taken deposit on the shell and alot of the bits.

Just before we started to Rip it apart, I realised I needed the Socket for the Hub/Driveshaft nut.

So i got a Laser 32mm impact socket

So we stripped what needed to come off the car, managed to get everything done that evening.

Here's a few pics of the the engine coming out.

The next morning, we loaded the shell on the recovery truck, and off it went to its new owner, with a new lease of life and a K swap awaiting it

And then next morning after that my buddy Nav's EE9 was back with us, after he had all the fabrication done.

So we decided to have a clean up and "ORGANISE" eveything lol

I pulled the eg out in to the yard after a good few months, felt good to see it out lol, motivated me alot, as now we've got the room to work on the cars, and i can actually make some real progress.

They'll be getting retrimmed eventually so they can gather some more dust for a little longer haha.

So after a long day of sorting the cars and the rest of the bits out, we got the cars in and called it a day.

This was the last time the car hit the road back in 2015, days after the car had its running gear taken out and was left for dead lol

It was parked up for a while before it got stripped too, probably off the road for 6 years, before I got my hands on it.

Managed to find a few hours to myself, so I started to take the eg apart, bit by bit.

Decided I want to strip the engine bay, took a few bits off then I thought I might aswell remove the loom from the car, and to do that I'll take the dash off whilst I'm at it lol

Nipped out to get a set of picks to help me remove all the clips and trims etc.

A couple of pics before I took anything off lol

And here we go, I jumped right in to it

Pretty glad I removed the dash, found a couple of scabby patches near the windscreen, they should sandblast out.

Removed the aerial too, probably won't be putting that back in

I find parts from all over the world, I have a few buddy's in Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, Ireland, USA and other country's.

It's cool, but my car isn't equiped with other Gathers parts, in France, i think that this option wasn't sold...
