Hi there,

From Holland I say hello ;)

I'm an Interaction Designer student at the AKV St. Joost Academy of Fine Arts in Breda (NL). Please check out my portfolio http://www.sebastix.nl for more info what I do ;) This is my greatest hobby and fascination.

I'm owner of a Honda Civic from 1999 with a D14Z1 engine.

The car isn't quite stock anymore...here are some of my recent mods:

DRIVETRAIN
Engine type: D14Z1
Displacement: 1396cc
Compression ratio: 10:1
Bore& stroke: 75mm x 79mm
Max horsepower: 129,8hp @ 6755rpm
Max torque: 138Nm @ 5890rpm
Weight: 920kg without driver
Intake: custom made individual throttle bodies from a Suzuki GSX-R1000
Cylinder head: milled, 3-angle valve job, phosphorus bronze valve guides
Valves: OMI-Performance high compression valves
Valvesprings: OMI-Performance SPEC1 valvesprings
Retainers: OMI-Performance titanium retainers
Camshaft(s): regrinded D14 cam by NEWMAN (not installed yet)
Camgear(s): HKS camgear (not installed yet)
Pistons: original Honda
Connecting rods: original Honda
Crankshaft: original Honda
Header: DCSports 4-2-1 ceramic coated
Transmission: original Honda D13 S20 gearbox
Clutch: original Honda D16Z6
Flywheel: TCC light flywheel

There are more updates coming to push the engine over 140hp with a custom made camshaft by NEWMAN and a adjustable camgear. I am also privilaged to have the sponsoring from OMI-performance to test some of their new parts, they will also assist me with the d16z engine within a few weeks, so I will keep ya'll updated!

lol that guy in the Alfa doesn't look very happy with you.

Nice work though, how does this setup compare to dropping a B16 in, cost wise?

Cost wise? A B16A2 is too expensive here in Holland is my opinon. Get a D-serie, build it en you can eat B-series for the same amount of euros ;) That's the situation here in Holland.

i like the front lip, what is it?

nice!!i would love to see it with stripped interior and lightweight 14inch 185-55-14 tyres, along with the close mb2 gearbox.
