i got this things from a friend of mine..all i know so far is that it is for a DOHC engine (b16a)..

the story is that my friend installed this to his b16 engine and it almost f**ked up his engine..

here are some pics of the stuff..

side questions...

how do you set up this adjustable camgears? (we dont have an access to dyno here in our place or anywhere near).

are these brand of camgears good?

what re the gains?

from what b series engine is the camshaft?

Never heard of the brand but unless you know someone familier with tuning engines you'd be better off steering clear.
Even fitting them and just leaving both cam gears at 0deg it's possible you will lose power as often with changing cams the fueling and ignition timing has to be tuned to the cams in order to get any benefit from them. Also there is a slight possibility if the lift of the cams is so high that the valve springs on your B16A might not be up to it in which case you run the risk of having a piston hitting a valve at high revs.

SK2 POST THIS ON ANOTHER FORUM AND IF YOU GO BY THE MARKINGS ON THE CAMSHAFTS YOU HAVE 1-B SERIES AND 1-H SERIES...

After seeing a number of people posting about the markings on our B & H camshafts we thought it would be a good time to create a thread listing the old markings for our camshafts as well as the new markings.

All camshafts manufactured and sold starting March 2011 will have the new markings. These camshafts will have the same stamp on both Intake and Exhaust cams.

Camshafts made/sold prior to March 2011 will be hand etched, those made after will be stamped.

B Tuner Stage 1 (305-05-0140):
Old Etchings - "H01"
New Stamping - "N"

thanks clockwork for the warnings, this is why i am doing a research first before giving this a try because i cant afford to damage my engine..

@ oscarwork can you enlighten me more about your reply? by the way what is SK2?(sorry for bein a noob)

-you said "BY THE MARKINGS ON THE CAMSHAFTS YOU HAVE 1-B SERIES AND 1-H SERIES..."

so are you saying that these camshafts are not identical and does not match/ made for each other? (again sorry for bein noob on this)

thanks again guys

sk2=skunk2

the pictures that you posted 1 camshaft has "M" and the other one has "B" and according to the chart that i posted before 1 is for "H" series and the other one is for "B" series (if they are skunk2)
