Hello friends, recently many new users signed up just to sell stuff and post worthless garbage just to get up to 50 posts, i do my best to delete these worthless posts but i can't catch them all.

If anybody sees this type of behavior going on feel free to PM me the users user name and i will handle it :nice:

I know it annoys everyone so the more help i get the cleaner this place will be for the people that are here for the love of it! :win:
 
Nice one man, my respect goes out to you for working to keep this place running well blinx. I'll do my bit wherever I can.

Perhaps some more moderators would help. Perhaps restrict there account so they can not be full moderator???

I'd be happy to keep my eye out and help clean up the mess.
 
I wouldnt mind helping out... i noticed a bit of spam lately on here aswell.

Yes, the report buttons send emails to Myself and RVM and who ever the mod in that forums is as well, we usually respond with the pimp hand coming down strong from the heavens lol, j/k so far it's mostly been used to stop spammers and people that are trolling, most spammers and trolls don't last longer than 8hours before they get ban :)
 
I haven't noticed much spam on here probably due to the mods picking up on it pretty quick so looks like what ever system is in place to deal with this is working:nice:

What is going on with ek9.org!!!! it used to be only like one new thread a week!!!! Now theres pointless post and threads (maybe something to do with the spam 50 post thing)

whats up with the same thread being posted, e.g. decat, manifold, wheel size., ekl9 vs dc2..etc.. not being miserable but people should start searching!!


and WTF 130mph thread, what was that about i couldn't even understand the post that guy was writing.

Yeah, that was pretty gay, problem is sometimes it gets hard to tell if someone is just bullshitting and someone is just really really stupid or an ubernoob, like everytime i see a thread about "omg duz anybody have teh vtech killer camz?!" I want to shoot myself and punch a pregnant lady!!!!!

What are you going on about, my car cuts out at 130 and i was asking if that was the restrictor. Is there a problem in asking that? People just wrecked my thread by aurguing and calling eachother names like thay allways do

I think you'll find that's actually pretty rare here - in 2 years I've seen it but a handful of times. And more to the point, blinx's post was far from a personal attack on you or your thread. Why would you assume it was such?

Mate, please don't get confused. The comment above was in relation to another user who posted in your thread. I would've thought that was glaringly obvious if you go back and read through it.

Nobody is gonna have a problem with people asking genuine questions, that's what this place is for!! It's those with bad attitudes, fraudulent intentions and those that just ask without looking (searching) first, thereby making this place more cluttered and less of a nice place to be that this thread relates to.

Have to agree with jokeshopbeard, No one is argueing with you mate..You had every right to ask the question and there would have not being a problem with the thread if that certain someone didnt write on your thread starting arguements
