Hi Guys

My 9 needs insurance to reflect what it actually is, which is no longer an unmodified vti

Basically I was banned in 2013 for 6 months for totting up and have 3 points for phone currently. I know, im a terrible human being!

Car is pretty serious, as most of you know.

Can anyone make any recommendations?

Is it 5 years on your licence record a ban? I think you might struggle tbh

For mods I would use Sky or Greenlight pretty good when it comes to mods mate

I'm with sky pay £400 a year fully comp and mods declared or though my EK9 isn't know where near you spec rob

Also I believe Greenlight will allow you to add track cover to you policy for £45 a day

Hope this helps mate as for your convictions I cant comment worth a ring to see what they can do for you

Brentacre im 700 a year fully comp with all mods declared

I was with brentacre with a dangerous driving ban DD40 on my 9 no bother :D
I've done my 5 years and its gone now though thank god!

I use flux direct, they seem pretty good.

So far brentachre are winning, still a couple quotes to get but best so far is £1090. So weird telling an insurance company it's 500 odd brake, massive turbo etc etc. First time for everything I suppose.

Adrian flux were good with me. I was more behaved than you though!

so far...

greenlight just under 1300

brentachre 1089

Please try our scheme. We are fine with mods and convictions :)

Waiting for a call back, took a lot of convincing that it was a 1998 type r and didn't have a two litre engine. Explained when asked if it was modified that it had a sleeved block, forged internals, uprated head components, Garret GT3076r etc and your man asked 'but what about the engine, has that been modified' :wtf: :wtf2:

Brentacre where the only guys that could even quote me on mine.
Must be your age old boy

Feckers an yer cheap insurance im 1800 euro third party in ireland an im 24 like.

Greenlight were convinced my car was a "GT model" as per FN2. Ehh naw, fannybaws.

Try Chris Knott Insurance btw, got me a decent quote this year. Friendly staff too.

£1600 for my 9 with adrain Flux with a couple mods declared, exhaust, intake, camber arms etc. Thats with 0 no claims, driving 3 years.
