Heaters blowing cold

my heaters are not blowing hot air from them.
when the car heats up its still cold when i turn them on.
wanted to know has anyone had this same problem and what do you think the solution is.
 
On your heating system all the pipes that lead to and from the rad. Theres a little valve like a butterfly valve controlled by a cable sounds like the cable came off the valve and the door is stuck closed. Depends on your engine to locate it.
 
as well as the above, I'd have a look at the fuse box first. There was heat coming out from mine but wasn't blowing the heat a few weeks back. I ripped the interior apart to try and find something loose in the wiring, turned out just to be a blown fuse. Try that first. I have a spare heater matrix lying in the garage if it needs be, but the pipes are crushed lol, so you might need something to open them back up.

the engines a d16y7 so were about would the valve be and thanks for you help.

cheers ally will have a look at the fuses and see if it just that.
 
found the problem turns out it was the wee cable that opens and closes the valve cheers for that morevtec and cheers for the help guys :)).

No prob at all seen it a few times. Nothing like an easy fix that doesn't cost :)
