Did your car have any mot on it? some companies get a bit funny if car has no mot and involved in insurance claims . :(

A guy on another forum I visit got his ep3 hit. Only front wing/bumper/headlight damage. Insurers wrote it off.

Any excuse to get a vtec honda off the roads as that then brings the prices up to insure them.

If they do write it off, buy it back. If you want to repair and sell it, do so, but you won't get much. Breaking it may be hassle, but you'll get more for it.

Calm down guys, statistically she's less likely to kill someone than half of the people on here. Yeah, it's annoying but at the end of the day it's just a car. I wonder whether you would take all our driving licenses away every time some 20 yr old kills 3 people when speeding in his little Civic....

Shite yin mate, same thing happenend to my ek9 3 years ago. They wanted to write it off but a talked thm out of it. Eventually got a new quarter, door, wing and seatbelt. Cost 3k all in from th other person insurance. Mines looked worse thn yours so a reckon it will be ok

Mine was hit from the rear quater boot and bumper needed jig work and it only made a cat d lol

hope you can get it repaired but feel they will try write it off!
 
Defo buy it back, even if you just sell it to sum 1 to break, you will endup but 1.5 times what your ek9 is worth at least after insurance payout and selling the car. Will set you up well for a new car

That's **** to see and I know how you feel. I was in a similar situation last year, got my 9' out after several months off the road and it was parked up and a women reversed directly into side of it dinting rear quarter and door. Ended up her paying me cash and getting it repaired.
 
Cheers guys. Well that's the car got picked up and away to get valuation. Insurance pretty much said that it would get written off. So will prob not find out till next week now
