I love my potenza re-01 tyres, do you have access to those? :nice:

high end potenza's are excellent, i used to have the re540s and they where amazing!! they lasted about 10,000miles though since they where S tires. falken rt615 is also good as is the hancook RS2. both grippy with good life. if it rains a lot in your area though these tires may not be the best choice.

are these kind of tyres cost alot?

When I bought the car 2 years ago, it had Bridgestone in quite good shape. A month ago I bought some Michelin ($$$) but you have no idea how much the grip has been increased!!!! I managed to swallow around 5 km/h more top speed!!! Also, braking and throttle response has been increased as well because they are extremely soft tyres and they have excellent contact with the ground!!! This however, its the big disadvantage of Michelin. The wear on the sole its fast and the tyres get easily destroyed if driving is careless. I do not recommend these tyres for those who use the car regularly on nasty roads with gravel or stones. I'm missing some pieces already!!:( Yokohama have good reputation for matching with EK9 also :nice:

some are, here are the average price i pay per tire for these tires for size 205/50/15:

potenza re540s- $200+
nitto nt01 - $140
both are excellent but wear very fast!!

falken RT615- $95
Hancook RS2 - $95
a good compramise between grip and life, a lot of people in the us use these for street and track with great results.

I'm getting a new set of tyres tomorrow and the weather is really bad this year so I need tyres that can grip in the wet and also decent in the dry, basically i need a nice medium. Anyone know of any tyres like this?

yokohama parada spec 2 is a good all season tire. depending on how harsh your winters are it may be best to have 1 set of snow tires and 1 set of summer tires.

Damn it, too bad shipping is expensive, because I have 3 sets of snow tires that I will throw away soon, for some of you they might be usefull :(

wow, im sure someone would be willing to pay for your trouble plus shipping?? shipping should be around ~120 for a set of 15" tires no?

lots of out there and youll find bad and good reviews from same tyre but, parada spec 2 as mentioned is good overall and not bad price, im running rs2 at the moment, getting rave reviews in far east as good price overall tyre with evry good dry drip, wear rating is 200 though so wont last long, im finding ok but need suspesnion setup done to get best from them

best tyre ive had is ad07 but not avaible in u.k so you have get them imported, amazing tyre but doesnt last long

i really wanna try the azenis rt-615, lot of people reackon as good as AD07, some say better but not availbale in u.k so may import set

those bridgestone r i hear are awesome but only way again is to import

friend just bought some toyo r888 which are basically semi slick and only good for track/weekend car (dry only), they can cope with driving to track etc do track and get you home but in wet lots of care needed

rs2 is excellent tire but no good for winter, i think its as good as the rt615 :nice:

wow, really, have you used the rt-615 ? i just simply expected the azeni to blow the rs2 away, so far my i can say my rs2 are about 80% of what my AD07 were and with the AD07 my geometry was complete mess

i have driven on both tires, they are on the same level as each other. i like the rs2 a little more though. these tires are basically the stickiest non R compound street tires there are, along with pzero's and some michilins that dont even come in our size. the only real big step up from these tires is an r compound tire.

now thats thrown my plans in the air, im not gonna go to hassle of importing rt-615 if just same as rs2 but still dont find the rs2 touch the AD07

By boat hmmm maybe like 200$ ! I really dont know!

I have 3 sets in my house right now, and 2 sets my mom used them to put flowers and stuff in a farm lol! :angry2:

how many miles are on the rs2's in my experience some of those tires dont start to stick untill there about half tread depth.

probably covered around 1k but hopin to get little more geometry work done on car in several weeks so should improve
