Ghetto K24 ek build

Ive spoke to a couple h2b lads and it seems like a headache tbh
It's not to to bad:run:(not me trying to convince you to come to the H Series lol) tbh the h2b is a waste of time imo, a full H is the way to go but back to the post at hand, loving the build bro, gonna get a new intake manifold cause i can assist if you still aquiring parts buddy.:secret::nice:

I Do love seeing people still rocking a h swap but parts and support just dont seem to be as handy up here in scotland. Ill let you know! Think we are sound for now, @RyanSi has been digging through his spares piles which has been a great help!

Got a bit done at the weekend chucked the new UJ onto the rack and fitted brand new inner and outer tie rods with boots so we have steering again. Still need to loop the PAS until i decide what im doing with it but chances are ill do the same setup i went for with my dc2. @RyanSi fitted a k20 water pump and thermostat setup that he had sitting to allow us to use the ep3 idler pulley so the aux belt clears the engine mount. Next up we permanently fixed on the inlet with the new t7 stacks inside and the ep3 throttle body.

We then made up a fuel system and return utilising the oem filter with a banjo, torque rail and fittings, a tomei fuel pressure regulator and a set of rdx injecrors i had sitting that i had planned on fitting to my dc2.

Mocked up most of the engine loom bar the alternator as we dont have one and the plugs for the cam position sensors are toast so need replaced. Lucky the k24 came with a donor loom we can rob plugs from all in good progress. Id like to keep this prject a slow burner to avoid ending up skint but you know how these things usually go. I will be prioritising getting the integra ready for its mot in may but ill keep the ek updates coming when i make any progress.

Good times ahead! Had a night in the garage with the lads, ate some pizza and did some bits with the ek. Fired on the shifter cables to find out the fake ktuned shifter is awful so ill be picking up an oem one next chance i get!

I then pulled the fuel pump which was shockingly clean and changed it for the grams 320lph version for a bit of reassurance and it also makes a hella buzz on startup!

We then fired her up after changing out the crank position sensor for a k20 one to match the loom. I still need to change the file on the ecu as its on a k20 map but it was enough to fire her up.

But the most important job of the night.... was the 5 inch tachometer! Any honda head has seen that old grainy "just a lil 4 cylinder" video from back in the day so it was only right this build got that! Thanks again to ryan as he set it up for me. I know its pure cheese but its so funny. It even has a shift light

Fair way to go now but id say we are over the hill now with it! Loving the direction its going in being able to just have a laugh instead of stay strict with the styling like the dc2.
