Picked up this EK9 yesterday from Derby. Reasonbly straight and clean shell. Seems the car was up in the Glasgow area for a few years where it had all the mods fitted and only went down south earlier this year.

Mods currently fitted:
*Stage 1 clutch
*Stage 1 lightened flywheel
*Brake stopper
*Short shifter with dual bend
*DC sports exhaust manifold
*Custom b-pipe to Mugen twin loop backbox
*Integra front strut brace
*6TWO1 Coilovers
*Hardrace rear camber adjusters
*Cyberspeed LCA's
*S9B gearbox - not sure why it has that but have purchased a s4c for it!

Got a few plans for it but want to keep it oem or least oem looking for now. Got a few parts from my EJ9 that I may fit to this but will see what happens.

Only two pictures I have taken myself of the car so far. I know needs a bit of love but it's my first b-series honda and I love it.

Only thing I can see wrong is the front bumper is not sitting right. Probably needs to be tightened.

Otherwise it looks clean

Yeah first thought I had but where it bolts to the wing, it has rusted so the wing doesn't hold the bumper properly. Should be an easy fix over weekend.

The reg plate does look familiar think i bought a set of tyres of a guy who lived in ayrshire area think it might have been this one

Nice one mate!

Will no doubt see this soon :) get a new wing on that passanger side and it will be spot on :nice:

Enjoy it!

Yeah think at least 2 people in Ayrshire owned the car as a lot of the receipts I have are from places in Ayrshire.

Sammy's old one?

99% sure it's that one.

No idea if it is or not dude, would need to check paperwork and see.

Came across this sticker on the drivers side b-pillar. Kinda cool but can't really make out the writing on it.

Nice buy! Looks like a tidy enough base to build upon

Looks pretty clean! Nice simple mods too, you won't regret buying one ;)

Also a rear plate recess with the clips still in tact is a pretty rare thing to see these days lol!

Thanks guys, it's got a few marks here and there but loving it so far. Went out for a blast in it tonight with a mate and it's just epic fun to drive.

Anyways found this in within the paperwork I got with the car. Not exactly sure what it is but looks like a receipt of some kind.

If you google jomo body card and translate the results it looks like it could be a fuel receipt or card statement of some sort.

I had a load of random paper work like that with one of mine

Yeah looks like to do with some Japanese fuel company, had a search about Google for more info.

Booked the EK9 in for a full respray, purchased a s4c box to replace the s9b and bought some 6two1 coilovers. Should be driveable once the coilovers are on as its so bouncy right now.

Picture of it outside mine in need of a good clean.

I love pre facelift, I've got a facelift and looks no where near as fat.

Yeah, I've had 2 facelift civics before so fancied a change and I just think a pre facelift ek9 looks proper cool. Need to source a oem front lip as this one has seen better days and someone has used bathroom sealant along the top of it.

Some goodies arrived today, will be fitting these with my hardrace rear camber adjusters. Thanks to Adam at 6Two1 for sorting me out with these!
