Will this directly into a S4C box?

I believe the ek4 s4c has a smaller ring gear to the ek9 s4c. I may be wrong as im still learning these cars.
So if you have an ek9 gearbox this wont fit without fitting an aftermarket differential that was designed for the ek4 box
Even then I'm not 100% it would fit.
If you have an ek4 box then should fit!

Correct.

This FD is from a NON lsd box. Therefore it will not fit into an ek9 box.

The main ring pcd and internal diameter are different.

If you're lucky you might be able to find a eg vti box with LSD which this should fit into no probs.

Gutted as when I saw this I was getting my hopes up !

Dont know.

I had this problem last year.

It all depends on the dimensions of this FD. I found it hard to find an aftermarket LSD for an ek4, except an MFactory one at £600. People who are modding EK4's will usually go for an lsd S4c or S80 box.

The gear ring will not fit onto an oem lsd, plus the mounting holes are out of sync. You could machine the ring gear, re-bore holes and grind some of the LSD.

Looking at the lsd I've got here(ats) the centre hole on the FD is a lot smaller than the mounting for it on the lsd.
Anyway I've got a 4.9 In my s4c and I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't do mega motorway miles!

If it is a S4C(non lsd) from EK4 then yes.

Yes it will fit, once shimmed for correct clearances(like when fitting any aftermarket diff) there is no issues. I have a Quaife diff designed for y21/s4c(non lsd) fitted into my EK9 S4C gearbox.
