Front-End Upgrade from Prefacelift (E-EK9) to Facelift (GF-EK9)

This has probably been covered plenty of times before, but I'm just trying to establish what would be required to change the front-end exterior of an EK9 from PFL to FL. Two main questions:

1) Is the underlying chassis identical, i.e. it's just bolt-on bits that are different, and they would fit on either chassis?

2) What parts in the front-end are different between the PFL and FL? I'm thinking...
- Bumper
- Front fenders
- Headlights
- Bonnet
- Grill?
- Anything else...?

Main reason for considering the change is just the availability (and therefore price) of Facelift parts is starting to get quite favourable. I might start accumulating bits as they pop up.

I didn't even have the front bumper bar on mine. o_O (I'm doing the conversion now)

So 1) you have to do a minimal bit of cutting, and 2) all the parts in front of the A-pillar are different.
 
Ah, "conversion" was the word I was needing for searching, haha. Searching on words like Facelift and Upgrade was just pointless. o_O

Thanks for the link RVM, much appreciated. Pretty much covers what I needed to know. Although as with Trondelond, I'm not running a front bumper bar, so that's one less complication. :D

I might have a look through the bodyshop/parts manual and see what the different bumper mounting point is, and how easy it is to change (bolt on or weld on, etc).
