This needs to be done, everyone's got their practice in now and built their cars, time to get racing!

What are people up for? I reckon we run a few practice rounds then run a championship:

One event a week on a set day/time so everyone knows when it's on.

All races should be 2 heats, fairly long duration as short races suck.

Run a qualifying session?

Everything on 'big cajones' setting, except ABS and clutch for those that wish to use them. I'm inclined to say no ABS but that might not be popular...

As for classing, we could do a number of things:
Everyone builds their car and races that.
All one set class.
Multiclass.
Set spec, say stock apart from all the adjustable options; suspension, brakes, gears etc.
Set limits i.e 250bhp, no turbochargers, no RWD yada yada.

I like the set spec personally. Everyone is in the same car but having everything adjustable lets you get the edge.

What does everyone else think?

well if you all want to lose! :D I'm game as long as ALL driving aids are off with the exception of abs for those that dont want to play without it as the others are just GAY!

I Think set a class, And thats it! Then everyone can do whatever they want within that set boundary :)

Im in Just let me know when!

I'm up for this, add me (e5k1m0 Sam). I'd go with set a class but maybe not too high like S. All aids off except ABS? :nice:

I'm kind of down for a set Spec. Though I would vote atleast a 200whp limit. But allow everything else.

I probably wont be able to considering my time zone but I'm down to build one to specs.
Post up the final decision and I'll see what I can come up with.

If you were wanting to do a same spec/exact car race (everyone in same car with no alterations available but not a standard car with maybe small upgrades like suspension, brakes....) you can create a template car and share it in the club garage and everyone uses that car......

My personal opinion is a weekly time date for a race with a class limit of B but what you do with the car is up to you. Class B seems to be the class i have always used when playing online with everyone??

There is nothing stopping "special events" to replace the weekly race with the like of:

1. Set car in Club Garage
2. Limited BHP
3. Total OEM
4. No Power gains
5. EK9's with K20 only

For me its ABS on and no clutch but i would be willing to learn to not use abs.... but the clutch i am not

I agree there should be qualifying but maybe limit it to 1 day (not race day) not open to a full week or something.....

How do you choose grid position though? Surely qualifying would be irrelevant as you cant choose grid position?

I agree about B-class! Perfect class :)

What Day is best for everyone? Maybe start a poll thread?

Qualifying would be done on the day, before the race. One 3 lap race, delayed roll off, fastest lap time wins. The 'race' grid is then set in order of lobby points, with the fastest car from qualifying having the most and thus at the front.

I'm down with B class, though would still prefer the set spec.

This sounds good... Abs on everything else off and set a class. Think it should be original engine with bolt ons etc no k20 stuff . Should be good.

Set spec being a limited Power / Set Tyre / Set brakes etc? I think class racing is easier, but I see where your coming from!

Well if your in B-class, having a K20 will limit the amount of handling mods you can do, so its give or take, Speed or handling. I think the choice is fair really aslong as its within the Class,

However It would make sence for everyeone to have stock engine with mods to keep the cars closer :)

what about having all none engine upgrades except maybe cams and exhaust or something. that way everybody should be the same hp and class.

i'd be well up for it though.

Personally i think it should be limited to class not having the same mods as each other!

Surely having the option to modify freely up to a class gives us more opportunity to make small advances in the car to get a better car. I have spent a lot of time doing research and tuning, playing around with my car to get the best it can be, its rewarding and you have to spend time to get the advantage.

I think it should be a B500 and what you do is up to you (within reason) and its up to the user to research and tune the car to get the advantage they want??

Thats what you do in motor racing, tune etc within the regulation to get the advantage over competitors??

I am game for anything really, just think we shouldnt restrict it too much and have an occasional "special event" that has a lot of restrictions so its same car just skill and luck :blabla:

Can we start a poll? I vote Set Spec.
I managed to get the 9's ass under control without a wing :)
