EK9 Windshield fitment from USDM civic WS

Hello everyone, I recently purchased an ek9 1999 and the windshield is cracked, I’m located in the East coast in the U.S and I can’t seem to find an em9 windshield available for sale so my question is if a windshield from a usdm civic hatchback or even let’s say the em1 civic would fit the ek9? I asked a guy that works on this glass install and he said it wouldn’t fit, how true is that?

They're all the same. My friend that works at Honda in Canada has checked before. You just might get different colour tinted glass. I know its the case with the EK4 SiR.

So I can get any windshield as long as the front end is the same?

All the EKs are the same from the A pillar forward.

Great, I guess that gives me the green light to install a regular windshield for my ek9
