EK9 Type R-X!?

how do you no if your type r ek9 is a type r-x? i no the type rx has key less entry and a carbon center console but is there anything else!? and would the rx be rare!??

When u say keyless entry do u mean the central locking fob?? haha There are only a few subtle differences in the RX 1.the pedals 2. the red stitched gear gator thats pretty much it and yeh they carbon console has a blue tint to it aswell but thats pretty much it.obv it has to be facelift and year 2000 & normaly with amber indicators

apart from the sports pedals, does every ek9 not have all of the above as standard!? the reason im asking is because my ek9 does apart from the pedals but the chassis no. starts ek9-110 not 120, so is my 9 a type r or type rx!??

so it looks like yours is a facelift r and not a rx

remember even though you have different specs of ek9's they all came with optional extras that the highest spec came with so sometimes you get ones with diffrent parts, either that or they've been robbed and replaced with lower spec stuff.

The n1 race spec cars dont have elc folding mirrors, windows or even
Recaro's.

rhe difference inside between the facelift and the rx is the pedals, red stiching and the carbon fiber is polished

I presumed mine is an rx as it starts with 120 and has
electric power folding mirrors, ac, keyless entry remote locking, facelift carbon dash, metal finish pedals, ignition light, red stitched gaitor. hth

All Type R's have carbon consoles (except racebase of course). But has your carbon got a glossy finish with a slightly blue tinge or just standard grey colour carbon?

just the standard grey!? but it has key-less entry to!?

as far as im aware it was only the last of the 2000 models that were official RX models, but thats not to say an earlier version couldn't have been spec'd up to the same...

Reviving an old post here. But whilest browsing a bit, I've seen multiple sources saying (or maybe repeating info from this post?) that all EK9's starting with chassis code ek9-120.
Now the thing is, mine does. But it doesn't have any of the other recognisable features (as mentioned in this post), like the red stitched gaitor, metal pedals, glossy carbon dash or remote locking..?
So is the chassis code claim false or what? Maybe somebody has gained more information about this in rescent years (inside info from Honda.JP themselves?)..? I'm just curious...
