I am 24 and have a full clean license and 2 years no claims (was on mum's insurance for 1st few years ) and I got quoted £1800 with a £200 excess.
That is with Sky Insurance.
I very much doubt you'll get insurance at 18 - 19, as most UK insurance companies wont insure anyone under the age of 21 on a VTi...let alone a Type R!!!
So don't build your hopes up about getting an EK9 just yet.
I'm almost 24. I'm willing to give you 5 years and the car as a gift!! Is this a good offer??I remember being 17 and wishing I was 25 so I could be classed as a proper mature driver and get cheap quotes. LOL
Only a year to go! w00t w00t

Sorry, we wouldn't touch this... too young, car too powerful. Our minimum criteria is aged 19 and over with at least 1 year NCB.

Im 20 and struggling to find a cheap quote.
21 is the age you want to be! lol
We are living in a world that is governed by capitalism......Nothing is priced as it should be like before. They say you have the right to choose but whatever you choose is the same ****!I wouldnt hold your breath mate im 21 and the very cheapest i got was £1600 with a £500 excess!
It seems to be a challenge to find a "cheap" quote on the 9, christ its a 1.6 16v i was getting quotes for a 325i and it was only £1250, what is wrong with these people!
Hi mate. I think i'm going to wait until i'm 19 anyway. So what would the insurance be like for me then on one at 19, with 2 years NCB?
