EK9 Facelift Centre Console - Fascia Plate

Hi All

I am trying to tidy up the interior of my ek9 and I am struggling a bit with the fascia plate in the centre console.

It isn't necessarily connected to anything which keeps it in place in the dash (basically hanging in place) so will need to find something or make something to keep it in place. There are quite a few clips broken in the car so this is probably something that was on and off quite a bit.

My question is, what exactly holds it in place on the dashboard ? Is it a steel bracket or is it simply held by clips ?

I have a facelift dash and preface climate control. It can't be secured properly because the bolt location doesn't exist. Its held in by clips alone. I can pull it out anytime I want, but won't pop out while driving. There should be a bolt around the headunit.
