Hi Guys,

I got Aus spec EK4 98 B16 engine.

I changed most of the Internal parts with ITR specs:
- ITR Cam shaft
- ITR retainers, valve springs, valves
- Toda Adjustable Cams
- etc..

My question is which is a better ECU (ek9 or ITR) for my ek4 b16??
is there any pros/cons?
(btw there are more mods i/h/e & other stuff)

Could anyone tell me the code for JDM EK9 ECU? 99-00 specs (does the code varies according to the year manufacture?
- just wondering which year is better or compatible?

I saw some EK9 ECU at ebay for $199 US.. what do you guys think? cheap/expensive?

thx heaps :nice:

dude i will get a custom map i wouldnt bother with the ek9 ecu on the ek4 unless it is a b16b then again if you have after market parts the standard ecu will not reconise these, best speak to speed invoations based in miami the very good at mapping if you want ther number or details let me know

much better getting a stand alone management - fuel and ignition tables will be different as b16b is higher compression and runs a higher fuel pressure than a b16

Guys, I was thinking of getting the ek9 ecu...
coz i have replaced my b16 with jdm ITR valve springs, retainer, cam shaft, toda adjust cams, jdm itr injectors, jdm fpr, wallbro fuel pump (thinking of getting ek9 pistons & rods set), got all the i/h/e - mugen headers, bc3 catback, cai, lots more...

atm: i have jdm ITR ecu - although the idle is around 1200-1500rpm )is this normal??) and when you put the a/c the idles fluctuates.. goes down & up to 1500ish

hence, i was thinking of geeting the ek9 ecu :)

* do u guys think getting the ek9 pistons & rods - worth it?
* what other upgrade would be good??

thx heaps :D
